I've met Branden, cool guy. Sorry the Ty is gone. Wanted to hear/see that thing run.

Branden; Where did the Ty end up? Bay Area?

X2 Branded has help me with not only my Sy but also with some personal things. He is a great guy and I am sad to see his TY leave.

All that matters is that that ty isnt in illinois where it belongs

You know you'll get another one, when I sold the sy I felt like shooting myself till I got the ty and then got it running. My truck doesnt even run right now but its better than not having one at all :) Its close though, just waiting on a few more parts *cough* chip burner *cough* :rotf:

Re: Moving forward - pics added

the ty will have a really nice home. i bought a sy new in 91 and enjoyed outrunning the local vipers and ZR1's at that time with just a few bolt ons, Guy Reffet had bought his syclone just a month before i got mine and we talked about outrunning the vettes ...had a ty about 10yrs ago, but sold them when building house etc...Will be parked right next to a Z06 getting a forged motor and APS twin turbo install...so it will be in a good turbo loving household. Will keep you updated.

Re: Moving forward - pics added

No kidding, ha ha. Hey, I got a few cases of Torco unleaded. This stuff really works! I datalogged tonight with a full tank of 91 mixed with 1.5 cans of Torco and hit 22psi with only ~1 degree of KR. Did a ton of WOT runs and the most KR I could get was 3 degrees so I'm very satisfied with the stuff. Only problem I'm having now is the truck is breaking up (sputtering/popping) at anything over 20psi. I'm running UR6 plugs gapped at .032" and I think that could be the problem. I'm going to install a new set of UR6IX in gapped at .025" before I hit the track (soon). Hopefully, that cleans up the high-boost runs. Should be very low 12s next time out, if not 11s. This new 2500-stall 9/11 is really putting the power to the ground  So how's your Sy coming along?

still waiting on parts. Where did you get the torco? Might try some for the track. 18psi is all I plan on racing with for now.

Re: Moving forward - pics added

I have a source, possibly a better price. Let me get back to ya.

Edit: Found it:

http://www.need4speedpower.com/torco.html

This is where I bought it last year. Normally I share with a friend and he gets it so I'm double checking with him. Will let you know if he has a better source.

Mine was with alky spray (denatured) as well. We need all the help we can get with this 91 cat piss!

Re: Moving forward - pics added

The above is the best source we've found. Torco does work but you have to mix it correctly and it's not cheap. Hence the alki inj. I bought a 5 gal pail of meth last year and still a little left over. I hope to be able to tune better this year. We'll see.
