I LOL'd in my head,cause I know I'll be doing 60 once he gets traction,90 when he's doing 60,120 when he's doing 90,and prolly 160 when He's doing 135 and letting off,because I kept it WOT for a freaking half mile to prevent a ricer flyby.

Ferrari 355 back in 1999 or 2000 when I lived in Philadelphia PA.

We were on a single lane road waiting at a light to turn left and he was in front of me. (When I came up behind his car, I got extra close to the rear bumper just to get his *attention* and the attention of his wife/girlfriend in the passenger seat) :lol:

We turned left onto the main street (fairly popular 4-lane road for street racing) and he got on it a little bit...probably to get my attention. I lived right near this area and knew the next light would turn red by the time we approached it. I pulled up next to him...he looked at me and I looked at him. It was on. Light eventually turned green and I easily jumped out to a 1-2 car lead after the launch. He was starting to reel me in but I stayed about 1/2-3/4 length ahead of him until we shut it down around 70-80mph before hitting traffic and another light.

He probably wasn't too happy getting taught a lesson in front of his wife/girlfriend by an '80's looking "Blazer." :D

Another good kill story was on Broad Street in north Philadelphia around 3am in the morning. Me vs an E36 M3. We were pretty much the only people on the street except for some isolated crack heads and hookers. We ended up catching about 4-5 red lights over the next couple of miles and raced at every one. I beat him pretty easily each time. Finally at the last light we put our windows down and he said, "Hey, I know what's in that thing!!" and gave me 'thumbs up'.

I was taking out croscar for a ride in the sy.
a new maserati was in front of me, and i was trying to get him to race. so a get on his rearbumper. kinda pushing him (i'm an asshole). and he floored it....
than i knew he was trying to teach me. so i floored as well. and passed him real hard. you could see his wife not being happy he lost with his expensive car, and that he was even trying to race a pickup:D

Wow, I just went back 4 YEARS in history. Hard to imagine this happened that long ago!!

Say Jimmy, since you reminded me with this thread.....my offer from almost 2 years ago still stands; your Ty against my Z06. With 532 RWHP and tipping the scales at 3,016 lbs, I am feeling super confident but I've been waiting on you for almost 2 years :dunno:. The camcorder battery is even still standing by, fully charged on the charger...........waiting, like me.

Regardless, thanks for the chuckle. That kill is one you earned fair and square!!!!

Like Kurt, mine would be an F355 GTB. On Hwy 17 outside of Savannah back around 2002. We left from red and I had 5-6 lengths on him (my truck had 57 turbo, 50#ers, a cam, and little tuning back then) when we let off before the entrance to the dragstrip.

Otherwise, I ran a Mustang years ago from a light and he popped a tire just off launch. Weird sight from the rearview seeing him leave and then suddenly one tire go up in smoke.

I havent had many races in my SY ( because it hasnt ran well in a long time )

My LAST race was against an ls1 Trans Am that I saw run 12.7 at the track.

We punched it at 50-110 on the highway. I had his nose at my drivers door the entire time.

I really didnt think I would hold a candle to the ls1 on a roll ... especially because I am stock with just a KN filter and 3" exhaust ---

SRT 8 Grand Cherokee and a Lightning in the same race.... Heading down the local 3 lane cruise on my way to a buddy's house one Friday night must have attracted some admirers cause I pull up to this three lane stoplight and the next one isn't for probably a mile and a half. SRT on my left and the Lightning on my right. To my pleasure the guy in the SRT 8 had the small dick syndrome and was all antsy to get after it. He was revving the shit out of that thing, The Lightning guy cranks up his stereo??? I had this chick I was dating with me at the time her name was Jordana she starts laughing and she's like smoke 'em :p. Bump the shifter into neutral and rev it a few times to get the break pedal all the way down baby, start watching the cross traffic light and soon as that bitch turned yellow I started boosting it. Light turned green and I dropped the break, sounded like someone kicked a F***ing beagle!!! Jumped out about 3 on em before we cleared the intersection and stayed up till about 80 mph. "we're right in the middle of town and this truck is pretty notorious with the local fuzz already" Good times....

When I raced a 475whp honda del sol from a dig with my stock truck. Was not pretty past 80mph.
I think the ones that stand out in my head the most from other members are Tytilidie and Dean.

That would have to be my first kill ever in my truck against a fourth generation camaro. Car had three occupants in it. Driver kept goosing the throttle next to me when the were going down a two lane. Both the passenger and guy in the back seat had big smiles on their faces. Finally we catch a light and I showed him what was up... At the next light, he wouldn't even pull up beside me. He stopped with his front bumper even with my tailgate. I dunno if he even knew what I was driving. Didn't have any gauges in a pillar pod at the time since I had only had the truck for about two weeks.

Since my dad owned the truck before me, all of my siblings and I learned to drive in the Typhoon. He would let us take it out occasionally. Well my favorite kill was done by my brother. He took the ty out (to quote aeroking the truck was "stock as a box of rocks" to the local cruise in and lo and behold there is another teenager who had managed to get his dads viper. The race dates to about 96 or 97 so it was a brand spanking new rt10. The two decide they are going to race on one of the back roads outside of town. So they go out and line up. We all figured out that if you boosted it up a bit it would launch harder so this is what he does and they go. The TY dug the kid out of the hole bad due to major tire spin, but then the viper is catching up (like it should). Well my brother got lucky because he said he heard the kid attempt to shift into third and hit 5th. So the TY stays ahead, but recovering from the missed shift the kid is gaining again. Well by this point they are haulin, but my brother is convinced not to let this kid eek by so he stays in it. Well they got to a crossroad, which created a bit of a hump, and when I say hump I mean the TY launched off and got all four wheels off the ground, and then a large amount of sparks emitted on the landing according to the kid in the viper. Needless to say, no one would race my brother or really the truck after that. Lucky for us, the kid was too sheepish to admit to blowing the gear change.
