modded Supra tt
Hey guys, kill section seems a little stale lately so I thought I'd throw in this story from last summer. I was too lazy to post it then.
I was driving into the downtown core, when my wingman (passenger) told me he spotted a red supra headed the other way. Pickings were slim that night so I was pretty much u-turned after the Supra before his sentence was even finished.
We followed him onto a nice 3-laner which, after some quick spool manuvering, landed him at the pole position with me behind him. He had aftermarket rims & exhaust, beyond that I had no clue. The extra treat that I noticed was a couple of kids BESIDE the Supra in a spankin new 540i, and they were itching to race as well. Mmmm good.
So, on green, the Supra and 540i slowly take off to about 40mph, then hit it. I was still behing the Supra, and put the hammer down about a second or two after they did. Naturally, another lane opens up beside the Supra and I was more than happy to take it, as I was steadily approaching Supra bumper. The Supra had about 2 cars on the beamer as I walked by him, and we shut down at about 100mph, due to a tight corner. After it opened up again, we all hit it -side by side- at about 80mph, where the Supra put a good 5+ lenghts on the beemer and I had approx 2.5 on the supra, with him not gaining, and me not pulling till about 140mph. I shut it down first, because after we came over a hill, there was a van about a 1/2 mile ahead in my lane. What my wingman noticed, *god bless his soul*, is that in FRONT of that van was a cop van, so after he yelled at me I shut it down in a big f_cking hurry. The Supra, poor bastard, thought (maybe) he was gaining, so he sped right on by to to proclaim victory**(see note below)**. It wasn't until he was about 4 lenghts back of the cop did he brake, doing the 130mph plus speeds we were hitting. As you can surmise, he was cold BUSTED, and was pulled over as I , in the innocent lowered Jimmy, putted along behing the first van. The 540i made its way beside me on the next set of lights 5 min after the bust, and those guys were pretty amazed that the little black suv not only put bus-lenghts on them, but worked a (gorgeous) red Supra tt as well.
I would have liked to see what else was done to the tt, but I figured he was a little busy at the moment, so oh well.
**Note**: I did try my best to warn him, I flicked my lights on and off and my wingman waved his arms, but to no avail. I don't wish that junk on anybody I race, and hope the feelings mutual. We gotta look out for eachother.
