As always, big thanks to Gary Shanock for hosting the meet and opening his house/garage to everyone. Also thanks to Dan, Jeff and Jaci who helped prep and cook the food...there wasnt leftovers.
Quite a few things got accomplished this year including:
- Fuel pump swap on Gary's Sy utilizing his lift to remove the bed. Best way to do a pump, EVER.
- Prop shaft loops installed on Gary's Sy and my Sy after some slight fitment modifications with the plasma cutter by neighbor Glenn
- Diagnosing that the Mandi's raspberry Sy was only running 5 injectors. Decided that since Dan had 65# injectors waiting to go in, we would take his stockers, put them in Mandi's Sy and then get Dan's truck running on Code59. So had a dual injector swap going on at the same time on 2 trucks. Mandi's truck also got an alternator swap.....and yes, Mandi worked on her own truck and Dans the entire time and got dirty without hesitation.
- DaveP installed and wired up the temp sensor display in his overhead console on his 93 Ty.
- Randy got some major tuning done on his truck only to have Ian and Mandi romp his ass on the street
- I got some quick tuning done while doing circles around cops on the highway. Alex realized very quickly that I treat the road like my own personal race track and I my truck has only 2 modes. 0% throttle and 100% throttle.
Some highlites include:
- DaveP and Quinnster (now given the name "California") showing up from Cali. That's a 2000+ mile trip just to come hang out.
- Jeff Moneta and his buddy Adam came down from PA to hang out.
- Alex the cuban killer himself showing up and flexing his Code59 and suave truck wrenching skills....only to later on realize that in order to fly out of the country, you must have an updated VISA after leaving for the airpot and retuning shortly after being denied to board.
- It only takes 1 piece of porcelin from a spark plug to shatter a window.
- Audi S6's have some weird ass vac line setup shit that can easily be mangled if you run over something
- The only good use for a 92 Typhoon other than crushing it is to take a permanent marker to it and make it your art board
- The Pro Street Syclone showed up. Work of art and by far probably one of the cleanest well built Syclones out there.
- When you borrow your mom's Jag, you can do burnouts in it you previously thought impossible
