- abs removal

QUESTIONS:

What other projects would people like to do?
This way we can plan the weekend out.
Do we need lifts and a shop or are we mostly working at ground level?
Last time it was $200 for 8 hours at SS Performance, just to cover the hourly of the tech who was there. Maybe we don't need the expense.

How many people want to DYNO their trucks?
BigAl is taking that one on. We need at least 10 trucks to get a deal of $60 for three pulls with a/f ratio graphed.

with all these people here, it might be wise to do a fuel pump on your sy if you need it. more people = easier to remove the bed of your truck.

don't think we're going to have 10 trucks for the dyno session. think i counted maybe 3 or 4 people interested so i don't think it'll happen. if this is all the work we're gonna be doing it should only take saturday to get it all done.

i'll probably leave orlando friday after work. if anybody isn't leaving till then and wants to caravan down, drop me a line and we'll work out the details.

friday afternoon has my name on it now... we'll see about pops and dad, maybe they can meet up in lakeland and join us in orlando.

brian's ty is either in orlando or melborne, we can pick him/it up as well.

I have a built in BBQ on the patio. It eats a lot of charcoal but can grill a lot of stuff at once. I thought there was some law that required us to eat pizza if Bryan was around a lot of SyTy's or something?

Whats going on guys... First off, I know I don't have a sy or ty, but I love your vehicles.
I was wondering if I could attend your events.
I am willing to pay what ever fee you guys have set up.
I am pretty good with a wrench and wiring.
I've done Posi installs, dropped trannies, changed water pumps, almost anything you can think off, besides taking off the heads.
I also have a laptop, so we can run Datamaster.
Also, if I can come up with the flow, I would like to join you guys on the dyno. I wanna see what the car does on the bottle!

No fees, no cost to hang out. We collect for food runs and that's it. Call me if you want to, but any GM people are welcome. Just don't show up in an import. my neighbors will laugh at me.

Friday's plan

Friday's plan

So what do you guys have planned for Friday night?

Might I sugest Tower Shoppes?
I could probably save you guys some space next to club, SoFASST.

I hit Tower Shoppes every 3 weeks or so. But most of the crew won't be rolling in until late night so it'll be too late. We tried it one year but not enough people were in town until Sat morn.

My brother and I are planning to hit tower shoppes on the way down friday night. Not for long... just long enough to get something to eat and to take a quick look around. Seems to be at least one vehicle worth while every time I go.

Brian and I won't be down there until at least noon on Saturday. He's gotta work Friday, so that's that. Gary if you still haven't found the lowering blocks, let me know. There's a real good speed shop up the street, who gets stuff the next day. I believe the "purple Blazer" guys have them with the built in pinion angle, I'll check that out tomorrow. Anyone want a 10.40 Blazer with a 1.45 60' on street tires and full interior? Only $8k!!!

..Me too

..Me too

I would also be interested in showing up , and offering any help I can. I also don't own a Sy or Ty, but eventually will. I can bring my Snap-on timing light to recheck everyones timing. I need to know for sure what day would be the best to come by.

The big day is Saturday the 18th. Friday night is late arrival time and Sunday we usually do a big breakfast and then go our own ways. But if anyone wants to wrench or hang on Sunday because Monday is a holiday you are all more than welcome. 18 trucks confirmed so far.

What other projects do we have guys??

If I get everything together in time, I'll be wanting to throw my aquamist kit on my Ty and possibly slighty relocate the battery to do something different with my intake on the PTE turbo. Then maybe try and dial up a little more boost just adjusting the WG on the PTE combo, just a solid 16-18psi

Other very minor stuff would be to mount the switch for my electric dump somewhere and find a better place/way to ground my horn :D

shoot, I might as well drive down. I havent been to work in 6 days, doing nothing in NJ cept playing on the interweb, I think I might take Adam up on his offer.......lol

Oh yeah, im DEFINATELY gonna need to do plugs, wires, cap, and rotor after that drive, I need them now, but working in 20 degree weather is not so fun.
