Ralph - thanks again for your hospitality! Food was great! New 1/2 Shaft going in tomorrow. Guess the Impala wasn't meant to go on the dyno with the ripped boot. I spewed all over the place going home! Outer boot was ripped on drivers side. I guess they aren't meant to go 140+? Wish I could have done another pull with the fuel changes but that's ok, maybe I will schedule some time when I get a chance. I know it's got more than that in it.

Wondering if my Ty will ever get on the road again.... Still waiting on parts to come in.

Yea but the Meet was @ my House! So those who went to the dyno and hung out came to watch the others make pulls. You did make a pull on the dyno with the GN so "Thank You" for supporting Matt @ Tune Time Performance but my Sy/Ty Meet was the BBQ @ my house. The Dyno was just an extra benefit for coming down and hanging out. I really wanted to get nice photos of all the trucks on ym lawn.

This is why i do not like having meets because you put all this time into preparing food and setting up tents and getting ice and alky and then people don't show and don't call. My plans are still strong on selling the truck within the next 3 month and moving on to new ventures.

:rant: :rant: So as i vent here i just tell you that it is always the same people who don't show or pop in for 15-30 mins and then take off. All the people we had @ the Hooters Meet and then you have a private BBQ @ your house and no one wants to come and hangout. :rant: :rant:

Unfortunately i can't attend alot of meets becasue of working 12 hours a day Mon-Sat, So i plan things in advanced notice like this meet and i got less trucks then i have ever had @ my house.

Honestly, I challenge you to find another community as close knit, friendly, and helpful as this one.

I used to go to every meet, it is now becoming increasingly difficult for me to make them.. and while a BBQ at your house is a nice idea, I go to meets to see other's trucks and BS... i go to BBQ's to drink alot and eat food..

Thanks for the comment but you didn't say you were coming. This is what i am venting about. We still had 70-80 people here between family and friends and street racers, My new found friends with Trailblazers SS's and others GN's, T-types, ETC.

I am looking into some permits for a Local Huge Park that we can obtain a liquor permit and use the whole parking lot and BBQ and play softball, baseball, volleyball, sit by the lake or just BS. We have already had enormous response back from the Trailblazer SS Community about doing this meet, So if it was to happen would be Labor Day Weekend.

This meet i planned months ago so eveyone could take off or make plans and i got less people than the last 3 meets here.

Hmmm. I also expected more trucks since this meet was planned so long ago. But I had a good time while I was there. I would have stayed longer if I didnt have to wake up at 3:30 AM to go fishing. Ill probably make the next one in the time is right and Ill be at atco this weekend too.

Thanks for driving down from Boston to come here. Of course also to go fishing but let me know what day you plan on going to atco i may mess with the truck and go on Friday.

I planned to go to the meet before I planned to go fishing, so you were number 1 in my book Ralph. It just so happened to that I was going fishing the next day due to niceish weather.

I will def. be at ATCO on friday.

EDIT: I would have been there sooner, but I was hungover

Well whoever went saw that i didn't make it. I was installing my Line Lock set-up and had some problems getting the air out of the lines. As of 12 midnight we are up and running and leaving on 7-8 lbs of boost. So hopefully i can tryout @ the Cruise Night @ E-Town on Tues Night. I think it may go 1.60 maybe even a 1.5 if it doesn't spin too bad.

Yeah, we ran another 12.2 and tried leaving the line diff. best 60 was a 1.73 so I think its getting better, plus we might get some drag radials for the rear...

all still on 93 octane and 16lbs of boost...good luck on tusday ralph
