Mechanical Fan

Hey,

I checked the archives but didn't find much. Does anyone know if we can use a late model (or for that matter any model) fan to replace the stocker? I'm wondering if I can get more air-flow out of a new fan from a jimmy, or blazer.

If you replaced the stocker with another mechanical fan, what kind of changes did you notice? (noise, heat, etc...)

Grrr....

no one? (besides my fan club) I know there has to be something out there. Buckshaw used a fan from a buick roadmaster. Upside is it's quiet, downside is it runs warm. No one knows if you can use a newer fan?
