I wish! Im looking forward to seeing one in person though. Hope it shows up to the meet in June. I am going to find a red/white Marlboro shirt to take pictures in next to it if it shows, owner information is top secret ive been told.

Couple of questions...is that red over spray under the hood? on the latches and rear axle? I noticed your website is down...are you going out of business?

if this thing is still in SD its about 20-25 minutes away from where I live. If someone wants me to take a look i might be able to do it for them.

Hi Mike, the truck is in the showroom from I was told...payment will not be made until the truck is physically checked out by a syty member. Would hate to fly up there only to be disappointed. The concearns I have are the what appears tobe red paint over spray on the radiator support behind the gmc grill and above/behind headlamps. I also see something on the hood hing. The rear axle also appears to have some red over spray or light rust. If you can PM your phone number we can discuss.

The rear axle looks like rust to me. Eastern SD has high humidity.
Under the hood looks like overspray especially on the left side. Maybe they replaced the hood?
I would check with another member who owns a Marlboro & ask them about the craftsmanship on theirs.

I have had the opportunity to inspect 3 Marlboro trucks. In and out (and the PPG truck as well). Vehicle inspections are something I do for a living. For a fee, I can fly out, inspect and provide a full report. It's a big purchase and an important one for the SyTy world. Your call.

Ive seen 2872 up close and in person (driven it). Never could figure out the red paint on the core support....not sure if it was done on purpose as some sort of marking or an accident that went unfixed.

nothing on the truck has ever been replaced besides the two shocks that hold up the toneu cover. the rear axle just has light surface rust on it, looks red in the pics but no overspray. any paint overspray under the hood is how it came from the factory, remember they were repainted by people, not machines so some human error was going to happen.

we just noticed our website was down, i think its back up now though. we are just a small car dealer and dont deal a lot with the computer for sales, that is why it was down. we are not going out of buisness though!!
