Pick it up on Monday  Can't wait!

Red/Gray 1992 Ty

Truck basically needs a new owner, had every reliability done to it within the past few years. 66K on the odo with an engine rebuild (8k) and a transmission rebuild (15K). Paint looks perfect.

LOL I always laugh at ads like that, my favorite is "Never been raced." What is that supposed to mean? That they never entered their car into official competition?

Mine had low mileage because it was only driven on sunny days to, at, and back from the dragstrip. No pretenses there.

NO no no, you guys have it all wrong, you know it's perfect when it's been owned "by a retired doctor."

I'm pretty excited, was considering, as I had posted previously, the green one with low mileage and plenty of extra rust located in OH. I figured I'd spend the extra money just getting the body work taken care of so why not get one that's mechanically sound and already in great shape? Rhetorical questions are fun. As for who did the work, he sent me an itemized list of everything and it has quite a few vendors and dealers listed. I'm not planning on having it as a DD, just glad I finally got the "bug" out of my system to purchase one (it's been a good ten years coming).

PPI - Hey man, finally made it. I PM'd Robbie over on AZSR about all of us getting together when I get back in town, be nice to meet the handful of owners out in the desert. :)

Yeah, a lot has to do with the previous owner. Mine had 120k on it when I bought it and it ran like mad. I bought it from the original owner and he never knew what a launch was. It was very reasonable for being that high mileage.

And yeah, I'll hook up with ya guys. I know there are a few of us running (I'm recently running again too).

Re: Made my purchasing decision

There's a pretty good group out here, getting big, there's a guy with a S-GT too. We all need to have a meet. Maybe we can do it at Brandons since we know his truck won't be goin anywhere soon (Sorry Brandon but couldn't resist).

Apparently the boys at the local Chevy dealership decided to take it out on a joyride and spun a bearing when it was taken in for a sensor repair.

I bet those guys are no longer employed at that dealership, after costing them a few thousand
