Can any of you guys tell me who is doing and has in stock the engine mounts and oil pan for the LSX swaps now-a-days?

RPM (sytyperformance) sells a pan & mounts. I think JSM sells mounts not sure about a pan. Milodon makes a pan, not sure about mounts. Dirty Dingo sells both I believe. There's probably more if you do an internet search. There's also a thread on here from eviltwin with alot of info about LS swap.

Re: LSX Swap Mounts and Oil Pan

I am doing the swap right now. I started out with the modded H3 pan and the Dirty Dingo mounts. Note that the DD mounts sit the engine up pretty high and I had to modify the trans tunnel. The RPM stuff on the other hand sits the engine really low and you need almost no tunnel mod. The difference between the two mounts doesn't look like much but it is a drastic difference in height and trans tunnel modification. The RPM mounts don't work with the H3 oil pan, so you would have to build a mount and try to sit it a little lower than the DD mounts, I think that would be the optimal choice, because the H3 pan has the oil filter on there.

Re: LSX Swap Mounts and Oil Pan

Well I decided to use the RPM mounts and oil pan but had some questions for Mike. But I've had absolutely no luck getting him to answer the phone or reply to emails. But I'll keep trying. I have no interest in modding the H3 pan. I really like the Milidon pan... but can't find any reference of what mounts to use with it. Had contemplated just building my own mounts...but am trying to keep the fabbing to a minimal this time...lol

That is the way I am going. You will need to do a remote mount oil filter and weld in a bung for oil return if you go turbo.

I have a modded H3 pan that I will be selling, it has the turbo return bung and no need for oil filter, but you will have to do your own mounts.
