Lower Intake Gasket

I did some searching and cant find the answer Im looking for. This might be a stupid question, but are there gaskets that seal the front and back of the lower intake to the block? The gap seams kinda big to just use sealant. What am I missing here?

RTV is what everyone usually uses. Put a dab under the inner corners if the IM gaskets, put on gaskets, and use a continuous bead starting on the inner corner of one gasket across and onto the inner corner of the other gasket. Do this on the front and rear of the block. Hopefully I explained it good enough for you.

Also...be sure not to overdue it with the RTV or it could squeeze out from between the manifold and block and drip down into the lifter valley.
