Low boost

My after market boost guage is only showing 5 to 6lbs of boost at full throttle. Is it my turbo going bad? If not, what could I do to fix it? I don't think that it's the guage because the turbo is strong but i think that the truck isn't as strong as it should be. :-?

Tune up time. This is your first post so I'm going to list the basics...if you're an "aware" owner then you've already been over this so excuse me if you've already done these things.

- Conrad Cap & Rotor
- AC Delco CR42TS Plugs or NGK UR5 Plugs
- Taylor Spiro Pro Wires or ATR Black Beauties
- New Vacuum Lines
- Check Wastegate
- Check TDC
- Inspect Turbo to IC hose
- Check Timing
- Check Fuel Pressure

Do you have datamaster? Can you supply some files if you do? Where are you at? Maybe somebody can come over and help you take a peak at what's going on.
