I had to sell sy 2478 few years ago to pay some bills. I am looking for it now. the last site that it sold on has not been helpful. last thread the engine was blown. 3 years ago it was on torque addicts for sell.

any ideas on how I can track it down? I still have all the documents for the truck and would really appreciate any help

thanks

Not sure. That is the last info carfax had. Maybe see if you can somehow get info from the state with thay vin number? Or hell put up an ad on Craigslist there and see if anyone messages. Looks like it isn't too big of a city so with some groundwork may be able to track her down.

Re: looking for sy #2478

thanks guys for the help. it just dawned on me last night that he probally as I did, joined the site. I went to the new members section and did a search using 2478. found him.. he has not responded to my Pm yet. I would really like to see if what work has been done to it. of course I hope none. that would make it more affordable lol

but thanks everybody for the help. now I wait for a reply

Re: looking for sy #2478

just a update. I talked to kyle, he sold the sy some years ago to a guy on torque addicts. I search syclones and found a few threads with sy2478 in it. I Pm'd those two people. but then noticed few years ago I had already Pm'd those two fellow and got no help from them. I will try one more time talking to them, but I remember getting frustrated because they cared very little.

thanks to everyone for the help. looks like the only way now will be to pay off someone at the Dmv with the VIN.

Why would you want to buy a truck with an unknown rebuilt engine?

Sys are dirt cheap right now. Get a low mile original one for cheap
while you can.F that pile.

Re: looking for sy #2478

Ha! funny replys lol it does hold some sentimental value. back in the day. I couldnt afford these trucks. finally got one in 2007 but it needed paint. I never really got to do any work to it other than tune up the motor and get it back up to "standards"
also when i sold it. I was in a bind with the bills. the guy low balled me but had the cash and I took it. but.... I kept all the documents on it. just kindve thought i would track it down and buy it back one day.
the guys on torque Pm'd me. it was so long ago they dont remember who they sold it to
