Looking for Stock WG

Would it be wise to go with stock? My Ty is mostly stock. My WG is covered in rust. Not even sure if it works. Is the ATR one a direct replacement? Or should I consider a crossover weld-on? If anyone has a stocker sitting around cheap not covered in rust I might be interested. Just bought all new plumbing for down there as well. Oil return/supply/gasket and water return/supply and boost control solenoid. Turbo is in good shape bearings and blades that is.

The actuator could be tested with a mityvac. It should retract when vacuum is applied and hold vacuum.

The wastegate arm should move freely. Sometimes this is hard to test since it may behave differently when hot.

If you saw mine you would understand. It's rusty beyond anything. Plus it's so rusty its hacking up my lower radiator hose. Had to use some spare hose to protect the Goodyear hose.

The ATR wastegate sucks, and it will only work with their downpipe, which is pointless to use with the stock turbo.

If you want ROCK SOLID boost control, get an external on the stock crossover and a profec B or similar. It will never be a problem again. Spool is also insane.
