Looking for CAD-based "vectorized" logo

I'm sure someone out there has used the Syclone or Typhoon logo in a CAD-based program. I'm trying to get ahold of either (or both) so I can use them to design some stuff in Solidworks. If you want to email them you can at bbunting@nautilussys.com.

Thanks,
Brandon

I will e-mail you the typhoon in a moment, if you promise when you get the syclone, you'll send it my way...

Which format would you prefer? I have it in all kinds of different formats...

BTW: Not sure what SolidWorks is, but I am guessing you are using it for vinyl purposes, would you happen to have the files for the pontiac bumper inserts, or know where i could get them???

No idea on the Pontiac bumper stuff....sorry.

I've been designing some custom stuff like EGR block-off plates/fuel rails/throttle body plates, etc. in Solidworks. It's a 3-D modeling program. A .dxf file will be ideal for me. But if you can't do that, let me know what formats you can do.

Thanks A Bunch,
Brandon

I'm at school right now, so I dont have access to the files. I sent a .dxf of the typhoon to MADPSI, if he's here he can forward it to you. I dont have any of the syclone stuff at the moment, except a dirty trace of it.....

I have the GMC too, but it will have to wait till i get home....

so i guess Illustrator .ai, .eps, etc does not work for you even though its vector? if any kind of illustraor export works, I have near perfect copies of both logos ready to be mailed to you.

I'll take any logos in any format you've got. I've got a Mac with basically every Adobe program made on it...

I'm working on a simple webpage with these files in all different formats. I'll let people know when it's up (should be today). I think it's a good idea to have vectorized logos available for reference anyways.

My email address is bbunting@nautilussys.com if anyone wants to send me stuff

An AI file will work for me.If you have Illustrator 10 you can export them as a Autocad DWG file or DXF file.

mike, do you think the syclone logo is good enough to do laser etching? i asked you about a sy logo a few months back, but i couldnt scan down the sy logo, cuz my scanner died. i trust your judgement, so if you think the sy logo is good, please send it! also, do you have an outline version of the logo, similar to the ty logo you put on your speaker box? any help is more than appreciated.

Neal,

The Sy logo is actually probably TOO good for laser etching  Seriously, I spent almost 2 hours on it, I traced out each little splatter and stroke, since the Sy logo is much rougher than the Ty one. What file format would you like? if you want the Illustrator one you can get it off MadPSIs little webpage. Any other format, let me know and it's good as done. As far as doing the outline, you got it bro. Let me know what you want and you'll have it in your mailbox asap.

Believe me, the logo is accurate. MadPSI, wanna verify?

Mike,

Any chance you would be able to help me out with the pontiac inserts?? Promised our club (www.kyfbodies.org) that i would bring them some inserts to the Beech Bend Bash saturday, and I cant make these mofo's fit for anything....

If you cant, maybe you are in tight with somebody in the vinyl business who can....Any help appreciated..

Daniel,

I'm not totally sure of what you need done, if you are looking for actual decals by this Saturday I don't think there is anything I can do...its already almost Friday and there's no way I could have them cut and shipped for Saturday delivery.

If you are just looking for design work then maybe I can help. Give me some specifics and I will see what I can do

I can do all the cutting, that part isnt a problem. I'm just having a helluva time getting the rear pontiac bumper inserts sized. All the pontiac logos im starting with are well out of proportion from where they have to be to fit. I was just curious if you knew anybody who actually cuts them that would be willing to send the illustrator files over.
