Re: Look what I got

are these copies of the cbr kit? im first in line if so

X2 for me.;)

If you need any measurements for the C6 Z06 six piston caliper...here is my measurements. Bolt hole centers are 5" or 5.048.

The measurements that you requested for the C5 ( if you even need it ?)...is 3.40, pretty close ( since I don't have pads loaded yet)

I'll buy a set and deal with the offset if any and report my findings. What is the cost of these ??

Yes, these are front brake upgrade brackets.

I am not sure if I am going to put these into kit form or just sell the brackets.

I will put an ad in the classifieds when that time comes.

I would recoupe your money by selling the brackets reasonably alone...there are several of us needing just that.
If you still feel like piecing together a slower moving kit, do another batch ...by then..you'll at least have some trader feedback to be judged by.;)

Also...what are the mounting ears eye centers for the calipers ?

Re: Look what I got

I can vouch for Mike, he is a very good friend of mine. He designed and built my ls brake upgrade for my xtreme, the c5 rear brake upgrade for my tttyphoon as well as the c5 front upgrade. All turned out very well and he has been working in designing and building parts for 5 plus years professionally. (I may be wrong here he is to old to keep track of);)

By all means look at my feedback rating as well. He is also on s10forum with 2800 plus post so he with a good reputation over there.

Re: Look what I got

5.025 between centers on the caliper side

Thanks for that spec.:) Well cool....I don't see why I'd have any problem mocking up the six piston calipers with some spacer adaptation R&D on my end.
PM me if you'd like to let a pair go.
Cheers Vinny

Re: Look what I got

I would be very interested in these. Just curious, will these fit a 1st gen 2wd? I am building a LQ9 version. I am guessing these would let you use teh hubs from a newer (2001 up) blazer correct

Re: Look what I got

When I talked to him today they are all c5 but I know he can make up a set for the ls brakes since he has the bracket already designed.

Re: Look what I got

You take your spindle and cut off the stock brake bracket, then bolt this bracket into where the hub bolts on. Not really hard just need a grinder and a couple hand tools.

And make sure to grab the abutment brackets as well.
