I'm putting together a quick article...

A Typhoon will be on the cover of the auto section also. Unfortunately, I cant find the few good pics I have of my truck & its in pieces now.

But anways...

I have about a page to work with. Help me with an outline of what I should definately have in there.

I'll post it when/if its done/published.

(if anyone has a good pic of a red/gray, I can probably get it used)

Oh yeah, that last pic would look killer on the front of a newpaper.

yeah, I'd like a copy of it too! Or at least scan it and post it here. (that might be better. :dunno: )

I think I'd talk about the history of the truck(s). Maybe say a word or two about a Sy. How fast they can be. How much the price of them are, in bad and good condt. How many are left, name the different groups in the states. (push this site!!!!!!!! )

Ive been trying fo the past three years to get Sy into the route 66 car show in san bernardino, but the rules are any car year of 1900 to 1973, any year vette, viper and prowler????? every year ive been denied, but this year i waas told that if i was submit publications, articles and such stuff that they would review my claims (which they didnt believe) and it would be allowed next year as specialty vehicles. I would like a copy to start a collection of articles and publications, i will not give up on this until its submitted.

As for your article, I would highlight the rarity, mechanical, its brutal off the line accelleration and how its was ahead of its time with no real competitors until recently.

No GN's allowed, but Shelly the lady who wants the publications also requested GN info, imy point to her why allow any year Prowler??? And not rare american muscle cars (GN) and Trucks (SY)

As for your article, I would highlight the rarity, mechanical, its brutal off the line accelleration and how its was ahead of its time with no real competitors until recently.

Don't forget in most cases, performance wise it's still ahead of most of the competitors.

I had talk to Shelly on of couple of occasion about the same thing and it was like hitting your head againt the wall. So I try to find out about the new 2004 GTO and she ask is it a real one or the fake one. I couldn't help myself, So I ask... How do you know if it is a real or fake 2004 GTO and she said the Automatic were the fake ones and the car that had the 6 speed were the real ones.

I wish I could get a pic of my truck that looks that clean. My dig camera sucks at pics I think. Anything short of a really $$$ camera to me doesnt do it for cars.
