leather seats in the sy

i just got done putting leather seats in the sy. i was told they were out of a 96 mark III conversion blazer. the only thing i have left is to wire up power to the driver side. tell me what you think

i wanted to get the stock seats recoved in leather, but the guy wanted 500 each to do. i could'nt pass up the price i got with the ones i put in.

They look good. Im going to be installing 93' Ty seats into mine as soon as I get some free time. I cant wait to see how they turn out.
Were they difficult to install?

Aren't the 93 seat the same as the jimmy slts leather. If not they look almost identical to the seat in my 93 slt. I myself would rather have the sy seats or the 92 seats, For some reason I just like the shape of the second generation s-series seat.

I couldn't agree more with that statement! I installed leather from a '94 Jimmy (same as Ty seats but light gray) and WOW, what a difference in comfort!! Makes those long drives to meets alot more tollerable.

ditto that!!! im a pretty small kid and i fit perfectly into the sy seats...

i took the seats out of my 94 LT blazer, and put em in the sy for a couple days and i didnt like it at all! too slippery... it felt like i was sliding around in the seat through turns... the sy seats are nice n snug

id love to find a pair of cheap SS camaro or Zo6 seats and re-embroider the headrest... for now ill just plan on reupholstering the stock sy seats with leather, and getthing some of those seat heater thingies for the winter time... mmm toasty ass!

I hate the '92 seats on both accounts, the comfort and the ugly ass gray cloth around the sides and back :uker::


but thats just me.

Robs seats definately look good, got to see them the other weekend in person.

looks strange w/o the matching door panels.

I'm sure the seats are very comfortable though :wink:

i knew i forgot something. i put the door panels on a week after i put the seats in.the panels were dirty when i took the pic, but there claean now.lol. heres a update with panels to match. there out of a 94 4dr blazer
