I am in need of some leaf springs but need to know the "Free Arch" meaurement of the stockers on the Typhoon. The spec is not listed in any of the manuals. Anybody have this measurement for me??
Thanks,

They are different... From memory there's one more leaf in the typhoon spring pack and the typhoon rear is dropped one inch less than a syclone... As for actual arch measurements i couldn't say offhand due to that extra leaf..

Pete have you looked into the belltech drop spring replacements?

I'm considering a set later in the summer... $75 per spring isn't bad at all

only thing you have to possibly consider is that the stock shocks can't compensate for the 2" decrease in distance for shock travel and might need to be replaced with a belltech unit..

Hunter install your engine yet?? use poly motor mounts? might want to check out Ian's silicone vacuum kit GP, mike's steering shaft GP, and the air to air GP ...

Somebody must have some typhoon springs laying around there garage. I'm having some custom made and need this info before they can make them. According to some of the threads I"ve seen, you can ask them to make some for a standard blazer??? Will I have to have them built with a 3" drop? I'm looking for a 1" drop on my TY. If they ask for a year of blazer do I say '92 and if its 4 wheel drive or two?
Somebody's gotta know.... :)
Thanks
