lc1 wbo2 help needed

Ok need to pick some brains here. Installing a wideband in my down pipe and wanna hook it to ecm and db1 gauge.
My question is since I am keeping stock narrow band sensor do can I just run brown wire to ecm and gauge? Since I am not simulating wb to nb nothing needs to be hooked up to nb?
I have searched and maybe missed something but any help is appreciated

Do you have a chip which uses wb input signal to control timing / fueling? If no, then gauge is all you need to see. No need to poke at the ECM.
