After much frustration yesterday trying to figure out how to get around this delay in the brake light system, reading everyones suggestions (thank you all) and having to leave for the track I ended up with the following:
Temporally remove wires from TCC man lockup sw which I have on upper dash just above dome sw and wire it in series with lead coming from brake circuit going to 2step. Plan being at the tree I'd rest my hand on top of dash with thumb on sw. On third amber flip sw, release brake and go. Sounds kinda hokie on the face of it but it worked quite well. My slowest RT was .100 with all the others being .0 something. So it works.
Will buy a different sw today so manual TCC will work again, fancy up the wire mess and I'm on to getting some slicks. With the 2step the truck is spinning the rears bad, chewing the ribber off the fronts, going sideways, I'm a sight to behold at the launch. :rotf: Last night on a 5# launch I was that close to letting up it was so bad. Had to bring the 2step way back down. Calling Micky Thompson today.
