Re: kenne bell ic pictures

Is this kit still made?

Is it good quality?

Do you need to get rid of the AC?

It looks really nice...

Kenne Bell doesn't do anything for SyTy's anymore that I am aware of including building IC's. The quality of the core is good, but the piping takes some crazy turns that I really don't understand. You do not need to get rid of the AC but you do need to cut the passenger side fenderwell for the piping. I still have this IC on my truck and it has ran a best of 10.2 with it; but it is definitely undersized for my application. The core is comparible in size to the RPM IC which has better piping and can still be purchased new.

I have it and would prob suggest buying the rpm, or custom, or the new turbotime ic. I dont really have a prob with mine but the kb piping sucked. I purchased the ic piping from rpm for their kit. It works fine but its a tight fit and comes uncomfortably close to the serpentine belt. jmo

has anyone ever compared the cores from rpm to the kb? Pros/cons. Right now im considering swapping to the rpm core b/c the way the kb core is and the way the piping is doesnt seem too effecient and there is a spot where it looks like its almost pinched at one of the couplers

Re: kenne bell ic pictures

I have had a few of the KB air to airs. They worked well. Pipes were a bitch though. I have one Syclone now with a custom core and tank setup I had Spearco make for me. Over twice the height of core as the KB. Bar and plate design. I put a smal fan behind it. Had used the ATR larger liquid at one time on another of my Syclones. It worked pretty well in cool weather. Going to use a Waller on the latest Syclone I picked up. No interest in the air to air on it. i.e. battery relocation, intake, etc.

What ever it takes!!

Sam could you please fax or email me the instructions to install this kit. I think you have to cut the fender to make it work, bend the AC canister a little towards pass fender to fit & I think the battery needs to be relocated as well.:(
