Make sure you use a shop that does alignments. Real alignments. There are a lot of shops that go to the computer, put in the name of the vehicle and the computer tells them what to turn and where. They don't have to know anything and may tell you you are getting custom alignment specs but it's just what the computer told them to do to make it like a "syclone" in the computer. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Make them show you the machine.

I have worked with alignment machines before, so I will keep that in mind and check the machine, I think I will know what I am looking for.

The alignment worked out great, since I did it myself at the cotech shop I go too :D . Now I have more money and I am going to change the plugs, wires, and maby the rotor? I'm not sure, I am in a working mood today with cash, what else could I work on this week. I need to take off BOV because I don't think it is running right with it on there, not sure why.

I can't believe that nobody mentioned it but get a scantool.. I'd order the USB one from moates.net and download tunerpro.. Make sure that everything looks good and that you are not seeing any knock..

Well...the motor does not sound all that great, but i was going to change wire, etc. Tuning scares me, like I am sure it does most poeple, is tunerpro that hard to use?

I wasn't talking about tuning.. You need to be pretty fimiliar with these trucks for that.. I was simply talking about datalogging.. Looking at what the ECM sees and making sure that everything is withing the desired parameters.

Tunerpro is a multi-function application and one of the things that it can be used for is monitoring the data that the ECM sees. There are other applications(Datamaster, Diacom, Tunercat, WinALDL, etc) out there but I think that Tunerpro is probably the best free one..

Re: Keep my truck as Reliable as can be.

Well, I am going to go buy the plugs, wires, and cap and rotor today. I was going by the parts that were listed on sytyarchives.com, but does anyone else have some opinions on what I should get with a basicaly stock setup? I am also buying some more radiator hose to replace my nice BOV, I will miss the psshhh :( . Would it also be worth to buy some injector cleaner? I have heard different stories on that stuff.
