KB "Jimmy 2" Question

Does anyone know what the KB Jimmy 2 turbo actually is?

It was internally gated at one time & then modified to be used with an external gate. What type of turbo is it?

Any help would be apreciated. Thanks,

As stated in the old catalog. The KB Stage 2C turbo upgrade consists of a visibly larger Garrett turbo equipped with an external, vacuum-operated wastegate control.

Can the exhaust housing be replaced to allow use of a 3" DP or does the entire turbo have to be switched out?

what he said.. I don't remember who it was but he sold his sy awhile ago but he said the following

I ran a 12.05 @ 111.5 w/ KB's Jimmy2 turbo, big boy external gate, Air2Air, 9/11 3600 stall, cold air, STRIP chip, ATR's 3" exhaust w/ test pipe, fuel pump, AFPR Stock injectors, stock ex. manifolds/downpipe, stock motor. 20psi

so take from that what you will as far as what the turbo could do x mods etc
