Remove the stock air cleaner assembly and duct that connects the turbo to the air cleaner assembly (See Fig. 1).
(Fig. 1)
Remove coolant recovery tank and relocate new tank to stock air cleaner location (See Fig. 2). Drill hole for recovery tank bracket. Recovery tank is held by the fill neck bracket. (Use new bolt included with tank kit)
(Fig. 2)
Run new overflow hose to new recovery tank. A loom clamp and self tapping screw is included. Drill hole and secure to top radiator cowl (See Fig. 3).
(Fig. 3)
Install the Kenne Bell filter into the canister and place the canister against the fenderwell in position (See Fig. 4 & 5). The canister will snap into position under the fender lip.
(Fig. 4)
Install the 90° plastic elbow into the orange rubber turbo elbow (See Fig. 4 & 5). (This is a special smooth wall silicone low restriction, high pressure turbo hose. Do Not Substitute.)
(Fig. 5)
Connect new Kenne Bell orange turbo hose to the 45° plastic elbow and insert 45° plastic elbow into the filter with hose clamps (See Fig. 4 & 5). The air conditioning lines will need to be bent upward for the turbo hose to fit under them. These lines must be re-lowered to fender level after the kit is installed to prevent contact with the hood (See Fig. 4). Sight across the fenders and if the lines do not protrude, they will clear the hood when closed.
Install the 5/8" barb fitting and new 5/8" hose. Route the 5/8" existing hose from the air cleaner assembly around the rear of the engine and connect to the new 5/8" hose with the 5/8" coupling. Tie strap away from the exhaust manifold. Now the hose vents into the Kenne Bell filter.
Install the 3/8" barb fitting and connect the existing PCV hose to it (See Fig. 5).
Hope to help.
