This filter fits right at the end of your stock air TUBE. Remove the stock air box, didn't have any hoses on mine, and replace with cone. The hose I believe your referring too is located right above the radiator fan shroud and goes from your air TUBE to PCV.

Also used by ordinary folks out here in Cali from time to time, yes #3. But actually, pretty much eveyone out here pokes smot so I say both defintions apply. Haven't you ever heard of Oaksterdam?

I'll say this too, if these parts were marijuana they would be very F'n sticky!
