so driving home today as my luck would have it my front diff locks up on me a mile from home. Grabbed my tools and started taking the front prop shaft out, hour later driving it home in that one mile my transmission just gives out right as i get to my backyard. Starting to get this truck is cursed other than that now have to throw more cash to fixing this.

You probably don't want to hear this but the common front differential failure is from a locked up transfer case.

just rebuild the transfer case so im highly sure it was bad when the transfer case gave out the first time

Buy matts Ty for parts? Your better off in the long run.

Take the entire drivetrain out and put Ty on jackstands. That's what I did, haven't had a problem since.

How'd you drive it home with a locked up front diff? Won't it keep the front wheels from turning even if the propshaft is out?
