just bought another truck with pics

i really didn't wanna do it. but i did.

this 1 is 100%stock and gonna keep it that way. haven't seen the truck in person, but we agreed upon the price if he the truck was in the same state the owner told me it would be in.
if i wasn't satishfied we would both shake hands and walk away. but i doubt i won't be

bad thing is that the transmission went out. only reverse no forward gears.
good stuff it just had a good paintjob with pearlcent(sp) blueish color.
also the car is bassicly bought from th first owner which is pretty good in my book as he bought it new and drove 80k miles.

it's orig. an aspen blue truck.

i agree. but than again, if the car doesn't need alot of prepwork done if i was going to have it repainted, so that it's about 1k off the paintjob

i agree, but i think they used soekind of coat for the chassis and the firewall cought some during progress, i'll steam clean it aspen

looks like you have A weekend on cleaning under the hood ahead of you. & 3 days cleaning inside of it.

i think i can manage it in 1 day. and about 3 hours fro the transmission swap. for under the hood i normally apply vapsotreen. high agressive soap, and let her suck, that steablast it off. ignition stuff doesn't like it much, but in a day or 2 it will be dry and clean and that maybe install a new cap and rotor etc.

Good looking truck - I like the colour although pearlescent is hard to fix scratches etc
but if you intend to just use it as a base for a repaint then its fine.

Do you intend to fix those holes in the instrument surround?
I know there are some products that claim to enable repair of this kind of damage

I met up with Quickstop last weekend for a spin in my truck and a chance to chat SYTY for an hour or two. Nothing but good things to say about you and your help on his truck!

great stuff, we must plan a euro syty meet soon. i have a spare undrilled bezel somewhere wich prolly end up in this one. or i take quickstop his bezel

your goal for stockish trucks is sick man...lol
actually i drove a few stock trucks, and i never had a stocker, since i bought them all broken, and i got in the 'do it while you are at' mode. and felt bad about modding mine.

now what's the best upgrade for a turbo you can through at it and still remain the stockish feeling?? ooooooops
