BLACK!?! WTF! They are dropping like flies now. (3) different colrs within days. I have to find out the deal with the Black ones. They are going to be shipped in a 'baggie'. I ordered few, lets see what I get.

EDIT: Looks like another JL Typhoon in March. Forever 64 Release 5 has another '92. No word on color. I'll let you know when I find out.

Thats what I thought, but they look good in the photo. Sometimes JL does small runs for private online dealers/functions, etc. So you never know. I'll be happy to let everyone know what I get.

I am the same way usually with my diecast collection, but I have a few that were specially made for Diecast Conventions and only came in a baggie. Maybe thats the case with these. We will see. I'll post pics when I get them.

I just got my reds and I'm thrilled and all...they're well done. But I'm a little bummed that it is out of scale to the Syclones they produced. The Sy cab is much larger, different shaped windshield and hood, just bigger in general.

I should post of photo but having trouble with my camera...maybe Jim can post them side-by-side??

Not a huge issue since all but one of mine will stay in the wrapper. "NIP"

Thanks Jim. Kinda looks like your garage.

The top photo really shows what I'm talking about. Minor gripe, but if you look at the window openings you can see the size difference. Plus, the Sy is quite a bit longer and higher. :dunno: Is there a shortage on alloy?

I'd like to find a few Teals. Since I own a Tel Typhoon. Can't find anything anywhere in any color. Sort of ironic. I have over 150 of the JL Syclones. And just about all variations of the rare ones.

Hey Nick..thats the dilemma we have. Only 1 seller on e*ay has it. I'm searching my other diecast forums and asking if anybody knows the deal with it. So far, nothing. Once I found something out, I'll be sure to post here. :tup:

PS. I did order from that seller and also will post once I get it.

I bet they will show up on ebay any day now. The online Typhoons seem to be selling out pretty fast. I missed out on the white one and had them buy them from a syty.net member here.

I don't know...the paint and the photo looks pretty authentic to JL. If this is a one-off, they did a pretty damn good job. Still, why does it arrive in a "plastic baggie" and not the packaging? :dunno:

Btw...if anyone has an extra Teal they want to trade for Red, let me know. (I've got standard wheels w/roof rack)

Sometimes JL does a limited run for Clubs,Conventions,Web sites, etc. Milezones has done a few 'runs' where they used a plain white JL casting (that you couldn't buy online or in a store) and printed their logo on it. Maybe this is one of them or he got his hands on a future release.

I think you nailed it here...however, do a search of mc2-toys seller on e*ay...there is a black white lightning (out of the package :dunno for sale! I think these are possibly being painted.
