tensioner is a PITA, but that looks good too seeing how it stares you in the face each time you open the hood.

i had the same addiction when i had the black ty. I polished the a/c lines too and anything else that i was working on or removed. It was scary. I knew i had a problem when everytime i changed the oil i repolished the oil filter adapter. It would take me 5 hours to change the damn oil. Its an addiction ken stop while you can! lol!

It is not that bad My dad left his drier on his 78 GMC becuase he polished it. And he loves taking alternators off and apart and polishing alternator cases for fun. Keep up the good work :rotf: (how that for negative influence :D )

Same issue here. You know you have a problem when you start polishing stuff that no one will ever see.

If you are "cursed" with the bling affliction, it is at it's worst when you have parts *off* the truck. Sometimes you have to stop and remember that he truck isn't going to be parked in the living room (even though you may wish that it was) under glass. It's gonna get driven on the street and get DIRTY at some point

On my first car ('66 Plymouth Satellite coupe with 340 and 727 - many years ago) I used to crawl underneath with bottles of enamel model paint, and paint the heads of all the bolts..... it was blingy - in a mid-seventies post disco sort of way (at least I only used black and silver for colors!)..

I have waxed the primer under my truck.

HA!!

I have polished brake lines (under hood), and will spend hours on wheel wells to get them clean.

Pfffft, I used to pull out my windshield in my pickup so the registration stickers would be straight and even...
