Is this DataMaster?

I just purchased a cable and software package from a sytyer. The question I have is: What does the CD-ROM look like. I got a Fuji CDR with three files on it:

Winzip.exe
PMaster (zip file)
WinOps5r01

As far as i can tell, it is some sort of camera software?
I can't figure this thing out.

U want Datamaster ?

Goto DATAMASTER LINK and down load it.

U can select 6 individual downloads (each will fit on a 3.5" floppy) or the entire thing as one (one download that WONT fit on 3.5" floppy) and install it.

U can make 20 runs before they ask that you register it, however you DO need the cable to interface the laptop to the ALDL port.

Andrew offers a free trial version that will allow for 20 runs, but then you have to pay full price for the password.

I sent TTS an email with the above description of the software you sent. Maybe they can tell me if that is the correct software, however I don't think that it is since it looks like it has been used(a few scratches on disk). I know you wouldn't send me the wrong disk intentially and I appreciate your prompt shipping I'll let you know what TTS says.

Okay. I know some of you guys have Datamaster. Is there any way someone can tell me or 1FSTSIX what the CD looks like? And what files are on it? It seems like I was sent the wrong disk from 1FSTSIX. Maybe he can look around his house and find the right one if he has a description.

I just went ahead and ordered the cable and software without dealing with the 20 free scans.You set you recordinds on fast it will eat up 20 scans in two seconds flat.Anyways he sent me just a re-writable Memorex CD-R,which he had written Datamaster ,Use 3.4.1 on it.

Ok, got my Datamaster CD ROM right in front of me: The case that it came in is a purple slim line case. It has a sticker on it that says: "TTS Power Systems". The disc itself is copied on a "Verbatim CD-R" CD. I can just read the label on the CD as it is labeled with one of those stickers that completely covers the top of the CD. On the label, it has "TTS Power Systems Datamaster Version 3.3.0 11/10/00 Distributed by AKM Electronics http://www.AKMcables.com Contact AKM for Purchasing Information". When the CD is loaded, the Datamaster logo appears with the phrase "Powertrain Diagnostic Software" HTH's

It's not 20 "snapshots" that you get to record, you can go into "File->Record ALDL data" 20 times (whether you record or not).

The disc itself really isn't important. It sounds like most people are just getting a CD-R with the files burned on it anyway, not some fancy pressed disc. You can download the software from TTS and unlock it with your key. The registration key is the important thing.
