well, its not crazy high mileage, but its nothing to write home about either
Professionally lowered suspension
:rotf::rotf::rotf: yeah its real tough to toss in a pair of drop blocks and turn two 19mm bolts. BTW, the rear does not look lowered much at all, if any

has engine upgrades
great, like what?
Has all manuals for it
whooptie doo!
No accidents
get a carfax just incase
youll have to see with your own eyes, is that a Colorado truck? definitely check for rust.

11,500 and its mine, So is it worth it guys?
it does look very clean, I prefer 93's over 92's. If it is all the things it says it is, especially the no rust part, I wouldn't go over $10K

Re: Is this car really worth this much?

It looks clean but it has a tow bar fitted so i would'nt touch it. Lets face it these trucks were built to be towed not to do the towing.lol. It could have been towing anything.

Lowered? Your kidding right?

For reference, this is lowered:
http://www.sytyarchives.com/gallery/v/sy0237/DSCN1450.jpg.html

That is a gigantic towbar. Red flag right there. Transmissions/propshaft/transfer case potential problems. Need to look for rust in the common spots.... around back window, roof rack, side windows, under doors, fenders, and bottom of the tailgate when you open it.

It *looks* clean, but pictures hide alot. Id suggest finding some of the CO guys around here and seeing if they might know the truck or could go with to help you check it out. They are going to find and know stuff that you dont. BTW, its a 92 and missing the door eschusions (surroundings).

If your willing to risk the extra $1500, then go for it, its your money. There are better deals right now on trucks with the same or lower mileage and at a few thousand less. And a few of them are red/grys if your in love with that color. I think you'll soon find out, anything in these trucks is a risk. It's a buyers market right now....but if you want to pad the guys wallet, by all means. Id try to negociate that price a bit and save that $1500 to start funding your soon to be coming broken and fix-it list. :2cents:

Im guessing it was never driven in winter then

I really love how this typhoon looks, so i think il risk the extra 1500.
then go waste your money, give the better details on it and the fact that they lied about it being lowered, Id only give them $9K max, but hey its your money, like they say theres a sucker born every minute.

Re: Is this car really worth this much?

I agree,

big tow bar which with 90 plus k on the drive train i'd have to be worried about one of the main drive train component taking a shit shortly after purchase

Missing the door eschusions although im not a fan of them they do tend to fetch a good deal of money

3' drop is obviously a lie, it's stock ride hight in the back plain as day

Engine ecu control tells me they know jack shit about these trucks and leans me towards again something blowing up shortly after purchase

Old school boost controller tells me the truck has seen higher then stock boost levels coupled with a owner that knows nothing about these trucks and lies (the lowered by 3" professionally comment)

Didn't see mention of a fuel pump upgrade so that again tells me the owner knows nothing and the trucks a ticking time bomb but hey if it checks out ok on datamaster and does in fact have no rust i'd pay 9k for it. Then promptly remove that towe bar and lower the rear

Re: Is this car really worth this much?

So the tow bar is a red flag for drivetrain problems, Im gonna ask him about it.

The suspension wasn't lowered huh? Maybe il see if he has any documentation.

And whats missing off the door? can anybody show me exactly where there supposed to be?

The door handle escutcheons are missing. Black rectangular plastic moldings that fit around the door handle and lock cylinder. Look at post #4 s10blaza's Ty has them in his photo.

You need to hit up the search button and take a little ride around syty.net Your ready and willing to drop 10+k on a truck you know little about. These aren't hondas that you get in, beat on and think your gonna drive day in and day out. These trucks are maintanence whores.

"A lot of people can afford to BUY a SyTy, a lot of people cant afford to OWN a SyTy."

You'll end up like the majority who come in with absolutely no research and end up a short time later trying to dump it in the classifieds cause you cant handle it and your lost in figuring out what to do.

Not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to steer you in the right direction.

Im ready and willing to drop 10K for a legit typhoon If its worth it, But everyone is telling me that its not so im not going to do it, No need to get touchy about it bro. And Everycar is gonna have maintenance problems if you run it ragged everyday, It would be a couple days a week maybe 10,000 miles a year, MAYBE.

Touchy? Nah...everyone is just trying to save you from dropping a few thousand more on the truck pictured above that you really need to.....bro.

Its obvious you have done ZERO research. You cant even tell if your looking at a real truck or not apparently and you have no idea what the trucks values are. Every car is going to have maintenance probs, your right. That wasnt my point and I didnt mention every other car. I specifically was talking about the trucks. The SyTy require A LOT more attention than your average car and you dont have to run them ragged to break them.....they do a good job at doing it at any speed. Do a search... plenty of guys on here who have bought trucks and didnt even get a few hundred miles before they broke. Am I saying thats whats going to happen to you? No....you could find one of those trucks that have little to no probs.

Like I said...not trying to burst your bubble and the responses have been somewhat harsh, but for those of us who have been around for a bit have watched people like you come into the game and quickly leave year after year because it was to much and lack of knowledge of what they were getting into.
