Is it just me or is the sight of a Sy/Ty in your garage just

TYRODD

My ass. Look at it.
I cannot park my truck and walk away without looking back at it.I check it out in the windows of storefronts that I drive by.

Me too, whenever I drive by a building with big windows Im always like "HOLY CRAP, THERES A TYPHOON!!!", and then realize its me, I do it on purpose though. I drive this thing everyday, and its always like a reward to drive it home after work everyday. Seeing all the WTF faces when I drive around makes it that much better. But then again, it does have "mood swings" alot, but that comes with the territory.

That's funny! When I lived in Dallas there was a new shopping center being built that had at least 100 feet of highly reflective windows on one side of the building. I would drive by there a bunch of times whenever I took the Sy out. 8)

i look at mine just to make sure it hasn't fallen off the jackstands yet

Same here

I think Im just gonna put some of those air cylinders on each corner ala formula one cars so that I can just plug in the shop air line and raise it up. I never wouldve thought you could wear out jack stands but since having the sy Ive changed my thinking.

I park my syclone outside. Don't thrash me, I feel bad enough about it as it is. I do the whole looking back after walking away, kinda funny. I do it with my bike and my dad's lightning too. The lightning front end is mean. And i love looking at my bike, I took all the stickers off of it, so you can't really tell what it is, but I know what she's hiding. (gsxr1000). I love that feeling though, people wondering what it is you're driving or riding, and you know that it looks mean for a reason. I used to get laughed at all the time driving a 79 Ranchero...but that didn't matter, cause it was making 422 hp. people shut up after hearing it start up. Hopefully I'll get to know my sy like I know my chero. Unfortunately I bought it and had to wait 2 weeks to pick it up, then drove it home (the long way), and the tranny gave out. So I had 2 weeks of not having it, a week of bad driving and now a week in the shop. But it's mean, and I'm always checking it out.

Awww, you guys are killing me. I need to get a Ty now!! All of my children will be conceived in the back of my Ty. And thats not going to be an accident. I'll sleep in it, propably run an extension cord out and pretty much live in it. You must have started this thread to eat at us future owners. I need a Ty.

I've had to sleep in the back of the Ty before...uncomfortable as hell. I actually got a better night's sleep on my buddy's limestone driveway after me and a friend passed out during a night of binge drinking back in high school.

BTW, always turning around and looking at the Sy or Ty after parking it has become a habit now. Thing is, the farther away you park from where it is you're going, the more times you can turn around and look at it. :)
