is ed hess running tonight?

i was driving on rt 30 in south jersey when i went by ed hess's shop and i think the truck was running(if so thing is frigging LOUD) with a trailer in front of it. seeing how it is friday and i think it's street night at atco. i wonder if ed is running his truck tonight. if so i want to go and video tape it. so if anyone know let me know. thanks :tup: :tup:

he's probably doing his 10-15psi shakedown/license runs. Should still be faster than any other sy thats been there.

i have no way of getting back to his shop before it closes so if anyone can get in touch with him let me know if he is running and i will video it.

Yes, Ed was doing his license runs @ ATCO but since the track is new and no rubber on it. Nobody not even all wheel drive cars could hook up with power.

Track was very slippery Fri. night. This run was a 10.31 I think. Ed was limiting his boost to keep the truck on the track.

yeah track sucked i could not get any better then a 1.77 60ft.

ed was running something like 138mph it was hard to read on the camcorder.

what'd you run Don? I'm assuming thats in the ty and not in the gn. if that was a 2.77 it'd be the GN :lol:

in the gn i went a 12.2 @ 109 still haveing some tuning issues i plan to do some susp work with bob on tuesday and get back to finish tuning by this weekend so i can run at the gn vs mustang on the 26th. i think i can get some 11.7-8s out of her.

Hey Raist,

I was there with Ed Hess, did you have the GN with welds on it.

I know i met a couple other fellow SY/TY guys @ ATCO on Friday night. That Track really needs some work before any serious runs can be layed down. I know E-Town is laying some good number already couple of my mustang and Gn friends were there on Weds night pulling some 1.44 60 ft times.

hey ralf yeah that was me. did not see you there i spoke to keith and ed. carmelo asked me to stop by since he was going to atco, i was planing on etown i may try that next week, but dont want a good 60th there and then go to atco for the buick vs mustang and have a wrong dial in because of crap track prep again. i may just wait to go to etown till the following week..
