Just wanted to say hi. I have been lurking on the board for 2 months and have enjoyed seeing peoples' cars with mods and colors and stories. Especially like the stories of how SyTys came to be and GM's handling of special collections. The collection in Reno is fascinating, along with people's individual stories.

I am not a current owner. I have a desire to eventually buy a Syclone, and keep it as a collectable, driving it on cruise nights and to shows. I also look foward to going to Shindigs and other events.

No, wish it was. It is Jenn Brown, who is a Florida Gator alum, who in 2010 will be a sideline reporter on ESPN College Football telecasts. It was either this or the Stock Syclone pic with the blond in front. Thanks for welcome.

This forum is full of a lot of good people. Trucks are for sale all the time on here. If you find one elsewhere dont be afraid to ask for someone to go with you to check it out.

Thank You. I will ask for help - as an aside the last 2 months I have reviewed the various for sale threads here, craigslist and TurboBuick. Many Sys are listed in NJ, so you never know. I have a buddy who collects AMX/Javelins - he has 7, 4 parts cars and 3 nice ones. He said he would acccompany me to check out cars, but I will avail me of all resources of this forum.

I have a buddy who collects AMX/Javelins - he has 7, 4 parts cars and 3 nice ones. He said he would acccompany me to check out cars, but I will avail me of all resources of this forum.

No disrespect to your buddy but your better off having someone who knows these trucks go with you to check them out.

Thanks for welcome. Someday thing. Great Recession kicked my a$$ and I am working my way back. I joined forum now because circumstances change and I wanted to have access when it comes time to buy. I have enjoyed stories and information up to now.

Thank You. Seems to be a bunch of nice people willing to help each other out, along with strangers. Best part is the stories, like PAS Dale, and seeing other rides gives me ideas when I get my own.:lol:

Thanks, Tyedye. Truthfully it will be awhile,but you are correct, the prices lowered due to the Recession will get me into the Syclone faster. Viewing pics and discussions is getting my desire up. As I said I hope to attend an event like the Shindig in the future. There is a cruise event on the Berlin Turnpike in nearby Connecticut that a bunch of GN enthusiasts hang out a couple of Saturdays a month, might go there.
