Yeah. This is a condition on a forced 3-2 that the checkvalve would prevent.
It will also aid in WOT 2-3 upshift. On 2-3 upshift,IF the 3rd feed has been enlarged, the quickly moving increased amount of lube can lift the 2-4 band too soon causing a flair. Your 2nd and 4th accumulators are in the case. The 3rd accumulator is integrated into the 2nd piston setup.
The one they have is different than the sonnax in that the one they are using (Fairbanks) doesn't have an O-ring provision but you normally don't have to use it anyway. Just be sure that when you enlarge the hole in the separator plate that you ALSO enlarge the hole in the checkvalve itself.
There is a specific size for the 093 servo that comes stock on sytys and there is another size for the Fairbanks super servo and these orifice sizes are in the instructions. Make sure you check your valvebody gaskets and if the gasket needs to be enlarged to clear the new size of the hole do so. You shouldn't have to open the gasket but if you do, do so.
