Intercooler pump replacement

Canada

My current pump works, however it is leaking...
And obviously that's a bad thing let alone the fact that I was planning on racing Saturday morning.... I need some help here fellas, never tinkered with this before so I don't know where to start.

What I am trying to learn from you is what do I look for in a replacement pump, sizes, pressure, etc?

Re: Intercooler pump replacement

I just replaced mine less then 2 weeks ago, it's not that hard at all.
Either get a Johnson CM30 pump or a Bosch Intercooler Pump 317GPH #392022002 (SVT Lightning pump). Both can be found on Ebay if needed.
I purchased a Johnson CM30 from a member, it does pump more then the bosch but either is an improvement over stock.

Re: Intercooler pump replacement

Thanks for the replies fellas...
I really want to use that Johnson pump but all the dealers in Canada either have no idea or dont have it in stock ... trying to locate the Bosch one if I can.

Thanks again.

Re: Intercooler pump replacement

So I contacted about 20 different shops, parts stores and dealers today...

the cheapest I found the bosch pump was $450.

Only because everyone references it for a lightning/shelby/high end ford...

Soooo I bought the Johnson for $160 and getting it shipped to my cabin in Montana, I'll just have to silicone the living hell out of the current unit and hope it holds.
