Input needed on Sy value

Re: Input needed on Sy value

I think you could flip it at $5k. It really doesn't need much, and even if you had to pull the heads, you could get 'er to a well running stock state pretty reasonably.

I think you need to ask yourself this question - if it were somebody you didn't know from a hole in the wall, would you give them 5k for it? Would you buy it at all?

Thanks for the input Dig. I guess my problem with it is that I'm out of shop room. My Sy sits in my little one stall shop, my wife's project Fairlane is in the second stall of our garage, my DD has to sit outside all winter, etc. :(

I thought it was going to be something I could buy, put a month worth of relatively easy cleaning, fixing into and then flip for a small profit. Fixing the motor may turn into more than just a valvetrain issue, then I'm upside down and in trouble with it (I don't think it's really anything worse than a pulled rocker stud, but...) Like most of us, my free time is becoming more and more scarce.

I'm up in the air about it. Anyone else interested in it??

I did find a brand new Kenne Bell Syclone catalog in an envelope inside of it... I'll scan that this afternoon before I have to give it back. :D

Here are the V-Rod pics T-Bone... send me a PM and I'll give you the owner's phone #. The bike has 5400 miles on it.... baby on the way so toy must go. I couldn't find a single scratch, nick, bug, smudge, etc.

The VRod sold.... I'm still trying to find someplace to store the Sy so that I can go ahead and pick it up.
