Injector size?

Does anybody have a clue what injectors I have in my Sy? Part number is 01720AA and they have a green top on them. I tried searching Google and came up empty handed.

Re: Injector size?

not 100 percent and I didnt check the PN but i thought the green tops were 42# injectors
Hmmm, everybody says you can't go by the color becuase every manufacturer uses different colors. But then when I search the part number, I can't find squat. Thanks for you guess though. I'm basically trying to figure out if they are stock or not (which I don't think they are) and what size they are.

If it is a Green stripe, I would almost bet my lunch they are Lucas 33#'s. These are very common on our trucks. Dig said they came from ATR (if I remember right that is) and I remember him telling me they were a BIG mod back in the day. I have seen around 10 trucks in person with them.

I think you may be right. I thought when I bought my Ultimate, I got it for stock injectors not knowing for sure what I had, and it runs totally fine.

On mine, the entire top is green, not just that stripe.
I have a set of green top 32Lbs injectors they NEVER ran in my truck i tryed them out..
Well ive been pretty lucky with these, but I just upgraded to a PTE-60-1 turbo, and I know now these injectors aint gonna cut it. Time for some 50's I think. Thanks for everyone's input on this!

Re: Injector size?

:rotf: I know huh. I thought thats what they were. I don't see why anyone would bother with the 32's if that is what stock is. Oh well.
I was wondering the same thing...why bother??? It also explains why my Ultimate chip for a stock truck did so well then.
