injector not working?

when the the truck is running and when i put my finger on the # 1 cylinder injector im not feelling it pulse like the other injectors. does this mean the injector is dead? or is there any other thing that runs them? fuse maybee? what should i check for. no wonder why im getting knock. and if the injector hasnt been working is that cylinder ok?

If its true not firing, you can wait till the engine is cold and start the motor up. Imediately put your hand on the exhaust manifold port on that cylinder. If its firing, it will get hot in 20-30 secs. You can hold a port on a working cylinder for reference.

i checked to see if it got hot as the port next 2 it, and it seemed to, but i still cant feel the injector tick. could it possibly be bad? or maybee stuck open? anyone have a stock injector?
