Hey guys, I know a number of you were interested in EL GLO/indiglo guages for you SyTy's and I found a site that will make them with only 15-20 people signing up as opposed to the like 100 or whatever required by NR Auto or whoever. The site is http://www.speedhut.com and they claim that with only 15-20 people committed to it, theyll make indiglo guages for any vehicle.

Looks hot, I am down. Do you know what the pricing will be? I also like the inverter they have to change the color of the indiglow.

Well as to the quality, my friend Tony had the indiglo's in his SHO and he loves them. has nothing bad to say about them so I dunno.

we may have to keep KiLLrSy's comment in mind, but we will never know unless we try. Maybe they've changed the way they do business.

I guess somebody has to be a test bed. Count me in. Let me know how much and the other details.

here is the deal...$139...first people get a small discount and save on shipping....sounds like they need 15 people to do anything....but if production is started....they need a guage cluster....now i tried explaining to them how it is impossible for someone to give up there cluster for $50 off their guage order....they wont send it back...they destroy it....but they will customize everyones guages they way that they want them you can get most anything done that they have on their website....just the basics...like colors indiglo or reverse indiglo....stuff like that .....now....how many are interested ....and does anyone have an extra cluster they are willing to part with???any ideas....get back to me i will continue to try and work a deal

It'd still be nice to see them, but I put em in my crx ($14), and got my indiglo gauge fix.

Hence my dropping the prototyping of my own kit.

I'm with Ian on this one.
Got Indiglos for the dodge and that cured my fix.
If these dont happen for SyTy by Feb. I am going plain white faces.

Quality does matter #1 when it is a product going into any SyTy. Why do you think it takes two years + to get out a Turbo DP setup.

NR is the best gauge faces I have seen to date. Never heard of these guys.
All indiglos will have a life expectancy longer than bulbs, except they can't be replaced as easily or cheaply as bulbs.

Let's see who is willing to give up their cluster. Would just the Gauge background do?

here is exactly what they said in when asked what they need for guages "We need the instument cluster (gauges, housing, & clear cover). We need to fit the gauge faces to the cluster." also they said it would take 8-14 weeks to have the research and design crew to have em ready for production....thanks again

could they use pictures for the gauges and which ever Sunbird Cluster or Blazer console that works with our trucks. Sorry guys for not knowing the exact year and such. I'm sur it would be easier for that. Maybe a local junk yard. Or one of the Sy/Ty's that have been totalled or in repair and will be out of comission for a couple of months. What ever happend to the one Ty that was supposed to be the tennis players and ended up in a school auto shop? Just some thoughts guys.

Ok, I just sent them the following.

I would like to organize a Group Purchase on guages for GMC Syclones & Typhoons in indiglo and reverse indiglo. Please contact me with the details.

Thank you

If necessary, I will find a second gauge cluster and send it to them. Damit, I've worked too hard on this not to get it done.

We will get Indiglo guages for our trucks.

all that they really need is a second gauge cluster....they cant return it and it has to be one from a sy/ty b/c no other vehicles had the exact same cluster...they were close but not the same....that is the only real hangup...that and the 8-14 weeks of waiting....just my $.02....i have talked to them quite a bit discussing different options
