Importing a syty from US

Can you sill bring them across the line to Canada. Or have I been misinformed.
a friend of mine brought back a syclone and registries will not let him register it here.
He has done them in the past but now is being told that syty's do not meet canadain regulations anymore and are considered off road vech's only. I guess for race purpose.
If that was true than the ones that are here and can be driven will all of a sudded go up in value.If some has any input it would be great.

I know it doesn't work very good, but a quick search of the forums would help. :tup:

There's quite a few that have recently gone to Canada... within the past year. Everything that needs done to get them across the border has been covered. :cool:

Syclones shouldnt be an issue since now that they are all over 15 years old, they are exempt from RIV regulations. Typhoons have always been an issue since they are an SUV. But there are ways to get them into Canada. Some of the other guys here would know more about that though.
