the things worthless as is my friend; running trucks in the same or better condition have gone for chaper than your reserve, based on the bid and it not being met. Be realistic, say the price and stop being a lame. You want to sell it, name the price you WANT, if noones willing to pay, so be it. BUT dont think we dont see that you are trying to get more than your reserve by playing games on the forum. Dont be that person here, we smell it a mile away. Where are the most likely spots for rust? And the reserve I put is $3000.00 not too bad right. I was willing to take almost anything about two months ago and told syty members to offer or maybe a trade on something, but nobody offered other than 1500. I would of lost what i paid for it. no real way, i suggest going to www.photobucket.com or some free pic hosting, make an account and it is really easy from there; thats the only real way.Victor said:

I think 3K is high.(but thats my opinion) I bid $2200 on it. Dont know if I'd go any higher being its unseen. If you want more you need to post lots of pics of everything. If I was able to eyeball it I might go more might go less. But not being able to see it are what I see from the pics(sitting in tall grass) $2200 is high

I have photo bucket and pics in there. Oh and the truck is on a six concrete slab with tin built shed. Not on grass. I took pics of undercarage. I just dont know how to post them. there are some pics here in the truck for sale forum. About a month old but a lot of pics up close.

Sorry but I feel your feeding everybody a line. It is very obvious that is has set in grass/dirt for awhile. (pics prove it). I bid on it up to $2200 I ask for more detailed pics and some of the undercarriage. You say no rust and the truck has not set on the grass and that you have pics of undercarriage but the only pics I have seen are the ones where it was setting in the grass with dirt under it. So that is the reason for the loss of interest. Your own doing. Guees you really dont want a sell or dont want the buyer to really see what they're buying. Good luck on the sell.

Looked at the truck today with a couple local board members. Im still running some figures on paper rather it is worth the investment or not. Victor has been honest with his feedback, the truck has no major rust issues. Only light surface rust, nothing a sander/grinder or just a can of spray paint wont fix. There are more major problem"s" with the Ty, like the motor being missing and not being in running condition.
My most of concern is, what is the story with the title? Was it transferred from previous owners? Who has last registerd the truck? Was the sales tax paid from the texas sale. Anyone here have a carfax with owner history?
Parting it out? That would be a mistake, nobody is interested in poor/broken condition stock parts. Cladding,turbo,downpipe,intakes,fuel rail,manifolds,wheels exc. No one even wants a set of 93 seats a panels, not at a price of worth of selling when you have a truck to leave them in. Everything else in the truck you cant even put a price on cause it's all available new out of LMC truck. Parting it out and getting 3-5 thousand is impossible.
Victor is a honest guy, I would have to say that his asking price of >3k is stretching it. He hasnt been around long to see what he has is worth. And making an effort to purchase a Ty takes as much effort as selling one. All of us should be aware of this, were not buying/selling honda civic's here. Were dealing with a vehicle(syty's) that need to looked over and over and over again to be aware of what your getting. there's no assuming or guessing at buying a SyTy.

Pull all the parts out of the back and lay them on the table. Be ready to show somebody what you've got and be proud to show them. Showing sombody a car in storage that is also being used as a storage is not a good item. Show them why you want 3k, not if you want 3k. The peeps on here want pictures, detailed pictures and current pictures!

First I would like to thank Erik for all the info he and the guys gave me. I can tell ya know these truck from left to right and apperciate the help with the ty Erik. I' ll get it out and take better pics. On a nice drive way. I only wish I knew more before I got in to this project.

I am still interested but will not fight to be the first in line. After seeing the truck, my judgement to make an offer would not be accurate, and im sure you would shoot it down. I brought a camera and decided not to take pictures, wouldnt have done any good. Clean it up and determine what is good and what is not. Hell, you might even decide to keep it after doing so. I'd take some good pictures for those interested out of state, and in my opinion i'd would keep it off e-bay. I'd be glad to come and make an offer on the truck when it is clean and easy to look at everything. In my opinion it's going to be very hard to get 3k even with the pile of parts. Things to consider about there condition.

front & rear diffs, fluid conditon? spins freely?visual inspection
front hub bearings, with axle's missing and has been sitting they will need to be replaced.

upper IC, visual inspection? leaks, cracks

pretty much just a good opurtunity to look over the entire vehicle. This will give a person an idea of what this Ty is going to take to getting it in fair running condition. And will be the breaking point in there offer with a known budget for repairs. Not to mention all the labor thus would do himself.
