Is there anyone here in Colorado that can help me figure out what my trucks problem is. What happens is when I put the pedal to the metal the truck seems that the turbo is working but in 1 second it stops. Anyhow it takes me about 10 - 15 seconds to get to 60 miles an hour. Please let me know if you have had this problem. And if you live here in Colorado and know your stuff let me know. I REALLY REALLY need someones help.
Thanks a lot.

thats what mine did until i found out that my turbo to ic hose had a hole in it. Did you check for leaks? My ideas probably suck but it's what happend to me.

No holes.
Also the stock turbo boost gauge is always at 0 in the middle. Even when the truck is off.
The turbo gauge is suppose to be at -15 when the truck is off right?
whats happening?

I don't know? I don't have a stock turbo so i have no experience with your problem. One of the guys should chime in and help out. Someone has to know.

no, on the stock boost guage 0 represents atmospheric pressure, so when your engine is off, it isnt under pressure(boost) or vaccumm, so it should read 0

Sounds just like a boost leak between the compressor outlet and your throttle body. The boost gauge showing 0 at all times may be your best lead. You should be pulling vacuum at idle and part throttle. It's most likely no longer tapped into the intake tract since it only shows atmospheric pressure. Your leak might be right around where the gauge pressure line is tapped since the gauge is always reading zero.
Good Luck!

All the time when I would turn the truck on or off the turbo gauge would always be at -15 now the turbo gauge is always on the middle (which is 0).
Also not even when I accelerate the gauge doesn't do anything.
I haven't took out orange hose off yet. I will do so tomorrow. I just hope is not the turbo. Thanks for all your help. Any more help is really helpful and appreciated.

No worries. Since your gauge is reading 0, the line is probably dangling in the wind in your engine bay (or downstream between the tap and the gauge). The hole it left behind is creating a boost leak giving you a hard time when you try to accelerate. Of course I'm guessing, but I'd put $ on it :D

I'm not a big guru but I agree with your conclusion. Thats why if you run a 3-Bar MAP sensor, the stock boost gauge reads very low. If it wasn't reading off the MAP sensor, it wouldn't be affected.

True. I'd check the MAP sensor's vacuum line. Could be broken, or pulled down. Driver's side of the upper intake. Vacuum line connection is at the bottom of the sensor, quite hard to see.

Would it be to much to ask if you guys would PLEASE post of the MAP sensor's vacuum line, Driver's side of the upper intake, Vacuum line connection is at the bottom of the sensor. Thanks guys again.

vaccum for the map comes off the rear of the intake manifold, theres a tee there from to the fpr and map.

check those, the connection to the map is on the bottom of the map sensor. yank the black box that is the map out of it's bracket and check that end.
