I never thought this day would come!

Well as of Thursday night there is a Sy and a Ty parked in the driveway. My dad finally bought a typhoon. He has been wanting one ever since he drove my truck and since he does not make much money he had been saving for awhile and we found a ty in need of work so we were going to buy that and put it back together. Then I remembed this ty for sale and it was 3x more than the ty in need of work but it was driveable now and with my good credit we had enough so now my dad is like this constantly. I don't have any pics of it right now but many people have seen this truck when it was modded because it was Darrin from chicago he put it back to stock and I had bought some parts from him in sept and now the ty. This one is going to remain mostly stock mainly because it is that way now and my sy will be the little race truck. Now I have to start researching ty stuff like rear window squeak and stuff like that since I never payed attention to that 'cause i never had a ty to worry about.

I did not know you had 2 tys, why did you get rid of the one?
I have some pics of Darrins truck in stock form and have one pic we took at the nats of it but thats it. There were a bunch on the nats gallery but that has gone down. I really liked the truck and hated to see him put it back to stock and would have bought it modded if I had some money and did not have my sy already so I did the next best thing and bought most of Darrins modded stuff and am putting it on my sy. I was always thinking how nice of a truck it was and how nice it would be to own it but I knew I could not afford it. Then just out of the blue last week I thought about my dad buying it and asked him how much he had saved and it worked out in the end. Can't figure out what to do to it first though, gauges, ultimate, or put on the flex a forms and rear sway bar I bought my dad for his birthday which came from Darrin also.

I tell ya what i think you should do 1st... I a few days ups is gonna knock on your door with a box. In that box is a sy lower intake. Take that sucker, get it modded for vortecs, give it to your dad, add a litle heroin and he will become just as addicted as the rest of us motor heads around here.

Don't worry Ed he is a big motor head and is talking about all the stuff he wants to do. I won't let him though not yet at least. Plus this one is so close to stock and all any mod done will be reversable.

Jimmy I will keep that in mind when I find the right girl, sorry you had to let one go. The truck that is :wink:

Seth if my sy is up and running and I have a car trailer we will take both otherwise it will probably be just the ty. But so much can happen in the next few months.
