I just got a 20g/14cm!! Quick question..

yea i just got a 20g with a 14cm exhaust housing. enfortuntatly i was just searching around and found that the stock tc doesnt work good with the 14cm exhaust housing. my question was even at sea level with an external gate is this still true? thanks

yes. the problem is that 14cm housing is so big u need lots of rpm from a stock motor to spool it. you can do tricks like playing with timing and fuelin...but only a TC swap will help for sure.

Jwaller, I have a 20g also, and have some slow spooling probs. I am doing P+P l35's 1.6 roller rockers and P+P intakes w/52 mil tb., and also have a 3000 stall converter already in the truck. Will these other things help the slow spool alot? Also getting 3" dp. I hate the way the truck spools compaired to the stock, but it was bad so I had to change.

me. of course. 575 for a new 9-11. but then again where to buy a converter has become an entire topic elsewhere. but
I will always use the 9/11.
