i have some pte 44 questions

im gonna buy a pte 44 soon and i have a few questions. can you use the stock intake tube with it. does it sit alot like the stock turbo does, and how hard is the install including downpipe, crossover. and also what kind of power gains can i expect from the te44 kit? thanks

Me thinks you should learn more about the product before you just buy it.
If you don't know what the power gains are, why would you just hurry up and buy it? You won't use the stock turbo-ic tube. Installation ease is inversely proportional to how rusted your bolts are.

installation is easier than removal of the old stuff IMO, which rust will make much difficulter

Yeah just take a bunch of cash and duct tape it to your intake.
It makes you go fast in the top end of the 50# type of injector with boost level out of the valve guide range of ECM compensation.

Do the research, if a bigger turbo is what you NEED then do all the supporting mods first and learn to tune that before you go making the equation more complicated.

www.precisionte.com can probably give you some of the info as to the turbo kits they sell and a simple phone call will get you all your answers.

well i have all of the supporting mods. i was just going to get one of the mini pro gates that mike lee sells. but i decided i just wanted to go with the pte44 kit since i see that everyone here likes them. i just wanted to ask a couple "general" questions so i can be prepared for the install. but thanks for the concern. 8)
