Re: i had to do it
You Know for the record here, Herman picked up his truck depite the fact that we had it's built motor on the stand ready to go in. Trans was done, and the truck was VERY close to completion. Yeah, it took awhile, but Herman wanted a very particular build, AND demanded a performance guarantee. He was kept up to date with every delay, and was given options to speed this process up. We even did free work on his corvette as a goodwill gesture.
He told me the day he picked it up that he couldn't AFFORD to finish it. Said he owed some money and had to sell it to pay bills. So is he a liar or what? On his last post about the truck, he said "money was no issue".
This thing had the most gorked up drivetrain I've ever seen. He said the the shop that built it previously had put a billet crank and forged rods in it. Guess what? stock rods, stock crank (broke in three places) We even had to do a video of it because he was supposedly going to sue the shop.
there was no damage done to this truck. it was stored inside, and very well cared for.
Summary: We did alot of work to prepare this truck for install and make him happy. He was given options to make it happen faster; he declined. When faced with near completion and big balance, said no money, had to sell. Then he posts this.
Good luck Herman.
