I asked my tint guy about this before and he said you don't want to do it, because you're automatically "at fault" in the event of an accident.
Now if they could make polarized film that was like 95% clear or more... that'd be a game changer against those dbags with the $30 ebay HIDs blinding everyone at night :roll:.

I have an 80% windshield tint on my daily driver. It meets all DOT requirements and is legal in my state. It blocks 43% of the heat and 99.5% UV. The tint appears clear, but the boost in A/C performance tells you that it works. I believe the tint is called LLumar Air80. I will eventually put the tint on all of my trucks. :tup:

How do you get the interior alignment right when you've cut the shape on the exterior? Even my iPhone screen protector won't go on straight without bubbles and being off!

Its cut slightly bigger so it overlaps the edges on the inside. Simple. The soapy water you see me spray on the window before i apply the film lets it slide a good bit. Just make sure the edges are all covered and squeegee out the water your good.
