How to remove rear drive shaft?

I've got all the bolts and retainers out.
Thing appears rusted in there. Book says not to use hammer or pry against anything. How the hell do they expect you to break it loose to slide it forward?
Any ideas?

use a rubber mallet to tap lightly on it after you soak it in pb blaster or wd-40.

I used a 2x4 the first time. Bungie it up and whack it with a piece of wood. Bungie keeps it from dropping down.
